What is Homicide?

Homicide is an encompassing term that deals with a multitude of criminal offences that result in a person’s death. The charge is the most serious in the Commonwealth Criminal law system and attracts the heaviest penalties, which may include up to life imprisonment in certain cases.

Most often Homicide charges will be separated in three difference types:
